Satu Cara Lokal Diterapkan di Tol Brebes-Kalikangkung Malam Ini

Direktorat Lalu Lintas of the Central Java Regional Police (Polda Jawa Tengah) has implemented a local one-way traffic engineering measure for tonight. The one-way system is enforced from the Brebes Toll Road to Kalikangkung.

As reported by detikJateng on Friday, March 28, 2025, the local one-way system has been in effect since Thursday, March 27, starting at 11:00 PM Western Indonesia Time (WIB). Vehicles coming from the Semarang direction are no longer allowed to enter the Kalikangkung Toll Gate.

Purpose of the One-Way Traffic System:

• To Anticipate Increased Homecoming Traffic: The decision was made to anticipate a surge in the flow of homebound travelers from the western regions heading east.

Details of the Traffic Arrangement:

• Affected Route: Brebes (KM 261) to Kalikangkung (KM 414).

• Traffic Diversion: Eastbound vehicles that normally use Route B from east to west are redirected to travel from west to east.

• National One-Way System: The implementation of a national one-way system is awaiting further instructions from the National Traffic Corps (Korlantas). The current measure is a local initiative within the Central Java Police area.

Traffic Conditions and Decision Basis:

• Traffic Increase: A notable rise in the number of vehicles was observed, with counts escalating from 3,000 to 4,700 units between Thursday afternoon and evening on the Cikatama Toll Road.

• Decision Factors: The decision was based on monitoring vehicle quantities consistently hovering around 4,000 units for 3-4 consecutive hours, as well as traffic density in the Pejagan area and overall traffic volume.

The one-way traffic control is a proactive step by the authorities to manage the flow of traffic during the holiday period.
